A 17-year-old from Carlisle is ‘excited’ to open his first pop-up in the city.

Ben Wilkinson, who is currently studying engineering at Carlisle College, will be bringing Cumbria Attire to Carlisle's Market Hall for the next three days.

The young entrepreneur has been building up Cumbria Attire's social media presence for the past month, which focuses on bringing high-end and mid-end luxury fashion brands to the community at more accessible prices.

“We’ve got all sorts – from jackets and shoes to T-shirts and polos," Ben said.

"We'll be offering Canada Goose, Moncler, Louis Vuitton, and Gucci as well as the likes of Stone Island and Paul Smith as well as activewear.

"The store has a 100 per cent authenticity guarantee and includes a money-back guarantee," he said.

As a first-time venture, the co-owner of Cumbria Attire is eager about his business's debut.

“It’s our first time doing a pop-up so this is a big thing for us. I’m excited.

“People throw away their used items sometimes and people let them go for ridiculous prices.

"A lot of people appreciate the clothing but don’t want to spend £200, so we’re repurposing that at a used price making it affordable clothing," he said.

They are also open to buying designer items locally, with anyone looking to sell encouraged to contact them.

The pop-up will be open from Thursday, October 31, at 11.30 and will run until Saturday, November 2 till 4pm.
