North East based band Field Music are set to perform in Carlisle early next year.
Sunderland's Brewis bothers take to the road after the recent release of "Limits of Language", their first album of new music for almost four years.
Field Music have been called one of the few bands to outlast the indie guitar band explosion of the mid-2000s.
Critics have compared their music to acts as diverse as Steely Dan, XTC, Prefab Sprout, Peter Gabriel, Scritti Politti, Talking Heads and Todd Rundgren. They have also been nominated for the Mercury Prize.
They will perform at Carlisle's Old Fire Station on Monday, February 3 at 8pm. Tickets cost £20 plus booking fee and are available to buy online now.
