Local children will be given the opportunity to switch-on the Brampton Christmas lights.
Anyone aged between four and 11 who lives in Brampton or attends Brampton Primary School is invited to enter a competition to be the lucky person to light up the town on Sunday November 24.
To be in with a chance, names should be submitted at the Moot Hall on November 24 between 3pm-4.15pm with the winner being named on stage at 4.30pm.
As well as this competition, there will also be free face painting and refreshments, carol singing, a parade, camels, and more.
There will be a parade leaving Showfield car park at 4.45pm and the lights will be switched on at 5pm.
Anyone who wishes to join the parade should meet at the car park at 4.30pm.
