Emergency services are responding to a crash involving three cars on a busy North Cumbrian road.
Cumbria police said it happened on the A69 Brampton Bypass and was reported shortly after 4pm today (October 31).
They asked motorists to avoid the area.
A police spokesperson told the News and Star that the three cars involved were a silver Mercedes, a silver Volvo, and a white Volkswagen.
Currently, no one has been taken to hospital but ambulance staff are in attendance and are assessing the levels of injuries.

A full road closure is not in place but the area is blocked as emergency services are present, so drivers may likely get stuck and should avoid the area where possible, the spokesperson said.
At the moment there is no estimate on how long the incident will take to clear because it is still in its early stages, they added.
UPDATE - 7PM:
Cumbria police said the road reopened at around 6.40pm and one person was taken to hospital with injuries described as 'minor' and 'non life-threatening'.
