A WEST Cumbrian cafe has been given a new food hygiene rating.
Fletcher's Cafe in Whitehaven was given a rating of Four when it was inspected on September 26.
The cafe is located at 7 Roper Street, in the town centre.
The hygienic handling of food including preparation, cooking, re-heating, cooling, and storage was Generally Satisfactory.
The cleanliness and condition of the facilities and building (including having appropriate layout, ventilation, hand washing facilities, and pest control) to enable good food hygiene was Good. As was the management for food safety.
