The owners of a popular local business are set to take over the hospitality services at Penrith Golf Club.
John Watt Catering, a subsidiary of John Watt and Son, will expand their operations to the golf club.
Peter Johnston, director at John Watt Catering and a Penrith resident, expressed his enthusiasm for the new venture.
He said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for us.
"As someone who lives in Penrith, this feels like a natural next step.
"We are thrilled to bring our passion for local ingredients and exceptional service to the members and guests of Penrith Golf Club."
The management at Penrith Golf Club also welcomed the partnership.
The club’s manager said: "John Watt and Son have a stellar reputation for using the finest local ingredients and offering high-quality, locally roasted coffee, tea, and food.
"We and our members are delighted to have them take over our hospitality services and are looking forward to the positive changes they will bring."
The collaboration is expected to 'enhance the dining experience' for members and visitors, with a strong emphasis on local produce and quality.
