A collection of 'eco-friendly' homes in Longtown, on the outskirts of Carlisle, has been announced by Wannop Developments.
The properties are located on the bank of the Esk, near to the town centre.
Nineteen new-build homes are counted in all on Waverley Road, while six properties are on Murray Close.
Solar panels, underfloor heating, and air-source heat pumps are among the amenities described by Wannop as "high-spec sustainability features."
Wannop claims that homeowners "could see a reduction of between 50 per cent and 80 per cent on their energy bills" on account of the features.
The development includes two, three, and four-bedroom layouts, with prices starting from £275,000.
Eddie Wannop, managing director, said: "Our homes at Waverley Road and Murray Close showcase the highest standards in sustainable living.
"We’re so proud to have these here after two years in the making.
"They’ll be ideal for growing families and retirees.
"We’ve had a strong focus on bringing the latest eco-friendly technology alongside modern and stylish designs."
A range of three and four-bedroom properties are now complete and available to move into before Christmas as part of 'phase one,' with additional properties, including two-bedroom bungalows, to come as part of phase two.
Wannop has also partnered with Wild Rabbit Interiors, of Carlisle, to offer a home-styling service to buyers.
Founder and interior stylist Jo Secular-Hall will guide buyers through choices in kitchen units, worktops, and more.
Those interested can view the new development and show home at open days on November 8, November 15, and November 22, from 10am to 1.45pm each day.
