The 'first-ever ice rink' on the shores of Ullswater is set to open this winter.
Another Place, The Lake is transforming its gardens into a wintry scene, featuring a 200-square-metre ice rink overlooking the lake.
The rink will be open every day for guests, visitors, school, and community groups to enjoy.
The ice rink is said to be the 'highlight' of Another Place's Christmas celebrations.
After skating, guests can enjoy festive cocktails, wood-fired pizzas, hot chocolates, mulled wine, and cider.
These will be served at The Glasshouse, around warming fire pits.
There is the option to skate and stay; or skate, swim and dine for people more local to Another Place, which includes a three-course dinner in Ramspbeck and time in Swim Club.
All overnight stays come with full access to the Swim Club, Kids’ Zone supervised sessions, an ice-skating session, and wetsuits and hot showers in the sheep shed.
Another Place will introduce dedicated time slots for family-friendly skating, accessible sessions, and adults-only hours.
Penguin and polar bear skate aids will be available for children to gain confidence on the ice.
Judi Blakeburn, Another Place CCO, said: "The ice rink is a first for Another Place.
"To be able to skate with family and friends in the open air against the backdrop of Ullswater will be such a unique and memorable experience for our guests and visitors this winter."
For those interested in more than just skating, the Fellside Sauna and outdoor hot tub offer a warm retreat.
There will also be guided wild swimming in the lake.
Adding to the Christmas cheer, market stalls will be set up beneath a Christmas tree.
These stalls will sell local produce, handmade crafts, and decorations over three weekends starting December 6.
The market aims to bring the Another Place gardens to life with a variety of items for filling stockings and decking halls.
Ms Blakeburn said: "Combined with our 16ft Nordmann Christmas tree, lights and decorations, festive market stalls and outdoor Fellside Sauna, we’re excited to bring our elemental take on a winter festival to the lakeshore."
