FOR this Nostalgia edition we wanted to take a look at Road Safety Week.
The campaign aims to inspire thousands of schools, organisations and communities to take action on road safety and to promote life-saving messages.
Road victims are put at the heart of Road Safety Week and the idea is to raise awareness of the devastating toll of road crashes and celebrate the work of the people who support families after a road death or serious injury.
The number of accidents are still very high and there has been no reduction in over a decade.
As part of road safety week organisations will be counting the real cost of road crashes and revealing the stories behind the numbers and calling for the very highest standard of care for every road victim.
The event is organised annually by the charity Brake.
