Popular northern rock band Inspiral Carpets will return to Carlisle next year as part of the Old Fire Station's 10th anniversary celebrations.
The band had the honour of playing at the very first Old Fire Station show back in 2015, after it was converted into an arts and entertainment venue.
It has gone on to become one of the busiest venues in Cumbria, hosting around 200 shows a year.
The Old Fire Station said: "A vital component of the infamous ‘Madchester’ movement, Inspiral Carpets formed in Oldham in 1980. Known for hit singles such as ‘This Is How It Feels’, ‘Saturn 5’ and ‘She Comes in the Fall’, they remain much-loved not only in Manchester but across the UK.
Tickets for the show on Thursday, May 22, 2025 are available to purchase on the Old Fire Station website now for £25 plus booking fee.
Support on the night will be from Malcolm, a rising star in the indie rock scene.
