MUNCASTER Castle is gearing up for the winter period.
The castle's main annual Halloween attraction has come to an end.
Staff at the castle will now be preparing for the winter ahead and the new season ahead in 2025.
In a video posted on social media, Ewan Frost-Pennington of Muncaster Castle said: "And so it is. Halloween is over and what nine days it has been, we're all very tired but pleased with how it went it was awesome.
"So, thanks a lot everyone for coming and to the team for supporting it. We're now in our winter period.
"So, on the weekend the castle will be open, as will the cafe, and we'll have flying displays.
"Then during the weekdays, we're going to be doing an honesty box system and even trialling the cafe which will be open on Mondays and Tuesdays."
