A Lancashire beer has been voted as the ‘beer of the festival’ at the recent Carlisle Beer Festival.
Lune Brew’s ‘Caked’, which is described as a 5 per cent ABV chocolate brownie stout, was voted by attendees as the leading beer of the three-day festival.
Ennerdale Brewery’s ‘Carvetti & me’, Harviestoun Brewery’s ‘Ola Dubh 40 year old’ and Loch Lomond Brewery’s ‘Jock Pumpkinhead’ all came joint second in the vote.
This year’s edition of the Carlisle Beer Festival was held at the Station Hotel in Carlisle and drew crowds of ale lovers on all three days.
