CARLISLE's Emily Trotter has represented Great Britain at the Loule Cup in Portugal.
15-year-old Emily, who is a member of Carlisle Trampoline Club, represented Great Britain at the 17th edition of the Loule Cup which took place between Thursday, October 31, and Saturday, November 2 in Portugal.
Emily competed in the trampoline junior female event at the junior competition a matter of weeks after also winning the Chris Forsham Trophy at the English Trampoline and Double Mini Tramp Championships in October.
This year the Loule Cup, which was Emily's final international competition of 2024 featured approximately 600 gymnasts from 19 countries, including Portugal, France, Greece, Estonia, Great Britain, Canada, Czechia, Argentina, Belgium, and USA.
Throughout the year Emil has been called up to multiple Great British Trampoline squads and competed in the European Championships, Nissen Cup, British Championships, English Championships, and the National League finals, having podium finishes in many of these events.
After competing in the Loule Cup and ahead of Emily's step up to the senior level in 2025, Carlisle Trampoline Club coach Kim Trotter said: "Emily had a fantastic time representing Great Britain at the Loulé Cup, finishing two strong routines and coming away proud that she was able to wear the Great Britain kit once again.
"The atmosphere and the support all the Great Britain gymnasts, coaches, and support staff from all three disciplines showed each other was outstanding.
"As a club, we are very proud of her achievements throughout this year and look forward to watching her continue and strive as a senior next year."
