CUMBRIA Police are investigating an incident of motorbike thefts in Carlisle.
The incident, which saw the theft of a motorcycle that was secured and locked by a chain, took place on Thursday, November 8 in the Stonegarth area of Carlisle.
The motorbike was later recovered.
A spokesperson for Cumbria Police said: "Police are investigating an incident of motorbike thefts in the area of Stonegarth that occurred at approximately 6.30pm on Thursday, November 8 2024.
"A motorcycle that was secured and locked by chain was later cut and the bike was removed. The motorbike was a black and red Triumph Bonneville.
"Three males were captured on CCTV in the area picking up the chain in an attempt to steal another bike.
"The motorbike was later recovered in the Castlerigg Drive area the next morning.
