CUMBRIA Police have arrested a man on suspicion of making threats to kill in Maryport.
Police attended an address on Eaglesfield Street in Maryport on the afternoon of Sunday, November 10, and arrested a man.
Police were called to the address after receiving reports of a man making threats of violence. He is currently in police custody.
A Cumbria Police spokesperson said: "Police have been in attendance at an address in Eaglesfield Street in Maryport this afternoon (November 10) and have arrested a man.
"Police received a call at around 3.30pm today of a man making threats of violence.
"Officers attended an address in Eaglesfield Street and, at around 4.30pm, a man was arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill.
"He is currently in police custody."
