A MAN has appeared in court accused of threatening a person with broken bottles.
Timothy Quinn, 57, did not enter pleas to charges of threatening a person with an offensive weapon, wounding with intent and assault by beating when he appeared before Workington Magistrates’ Court.
The offences are alleged to have taken place in St Bees on December 23 last year.
Quinn is accused of threatening a man with broken bottles at Seamill Lane. He is also accused of maliciously wounding another man with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm.
The case was sent to Carlisle Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on December 9.
Quinn, of Wodow Road, Thornhill, Egremont, was granted bail, on the condition that he does not contact four named people by any means.
