A wreath-laying ceremony took place at Brampton's War Memorial Cottage Hospital.
The ceremony began at 2pm, with ten wreaths laid by representatives of residents and organisations.
A parade followed at 2.40pm, with participation from the Royal British Legion, RAF Spadeadam personnel, and other groups.
The parade moved from the Market Place to St Martin's Church for a remembrance service, then returned to the Market Place.
A piper playing bagpipes was positioned outside the Howard Arms Hotel.
At William Howard School, there was a display of clear silhouettes bearing the names of Brampton conflict casualties.
