People living with dementia can receive free support at Carlisle's branch of Nationwide during a three-day pop-up event next week.
Nationwide is partnering with Dementia UK to offer face-to-face appointments with nurses at its branch on Lowther Street on November 19, 20, and 21.
Support available during these events include practical and emotional advice on all aspects of dementia such as legal issues, understanding a diagnosis, and concerns about memory problems.
Sarah Priestley, admiral nurse at Dementia UK, said: "We’re looking forward to bringing specialist face-to-face support for people affected by dementia to Carlisle.
"By partnering with Nationwide, we are able to provide a safe space in towns across the county to ensure our Admiral Nurses are able to reach as many people affected by the condition as possible."
It is part of Nationwide's Fairer Futures programme which address three social issues through charity partnerships - dementia, youth homelessness, and family poverty.
Appointments can be booked online via Dementia UK's website.
