A LAKE District pub has been given a new food hygiene rating.
The Pheasant Inn on Crosthwaite Road, in Keswick, was given a rating of 4 when it was inspected on October 4.
The hygienic handling of food including preparation, cooking, re-heating, cooling, and storage was found to be Good.
The cleanliness and condition of the facilities and building (including having appropriate layout, ventilation, hand washing facilities, and pest control) to enable good food hygiene was Generally Satisfactory.
The management of food safety was also found to be Good.
