A popular north Cumbrian pub is celebrating a national award win after it was named People's Choice.
The Howard Arms in Brampton won the national People's Choice Award at the Thwaites Hospitality Awards over the weekend.
It was named as one of five finalists alongside other pubs with more than 9,000 votes submitted for this category.
The Howard Arms team said: "We cannot thank each and every one of you, who voted for us, enough. We are truly blown away by everyone's support.
"To win an award is such an amazing thing for us and really shows us what an amazing team we have and that we must be doing something right.
"From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much, over and over again."
Thwaites Brewery hosted the annual awards at the North Lakes Hotel and Spa in Penrith on Sunday night
The People's Choice category gives people the opportunity to shout about their favourite local Thwaites pub.
The Howard Arms has previously won national Pub of the Year and the Perfect Principles category at the Hospitality Awards.
