The festive day ran was held last Saturday, November 9 with a raffle and numbers game, guess the name of the teddy bear, and guess the name of the Christmas cake.

Lynne, who runs Fantasia Beauty in Maryport, has been a beautician for 24 years and has owned her own business for 12 - running the events yearly and raising £10,000 for various different charities over that time.

She has supported charities such as Jigsaw Children's Hospice and Maryport Scouts during that time period, and has thanked all of her 'wonderful customers' who have supported the event both this year and over the last 12.

Speaking about the day, she said: "The event was a success once again, it was very busy with lots of fantastic support.

"We raised a fabulous amount of £1,130 for MAODS, they are over the moon with the amount."
