AN animal meet event will be returning to West Cumbria.
The Beacon in Whitehaven will be hosting a Pet Encounters event on Saturday, December 14.
An allergy warning is in place as there will be animals with fur including rabbits, hares, gerbils, and meerkats.
Tickets are £7.50 per child and £4.50 per adult, museum admission is not included in the ticket cost.
A spokesperson from The Beacon said: "We welcome the incredible Pet Encounters team who will teach you about their beautiful animals, their habitat, where they originate from, and how to care and look after them. You’ll also get a chance to hold and interact with many of the animals."
