Seven dogs, currently in the care of Animal Rescue Cumbria, are now ready to find their forever homes.

Animal Rescue Cumbria and The Wainwright Shelter take in, rehabilitate and rehome 350 cats and dogs every year. Once a dog has been assessed by the animal care team, they can be advertised for adoption.

These beautiful dogs are ready to find their forever families, hopefully in time for Christmas.

Twiglet is a one-year-old Chihuahua. She loves spending time with people and enjoys a cuddle.

She could live with other dogs who are experienced in living with toy breeds or who are of a similar size if introductions go well.

Nessie is a three-year-old Shih Tzu. She can be a little shy at first but loves having a fuss when she feels comfortable.

She is a friendly girl so could live with older children.

She would love a home with a secure garden that she can explore.

Biscoff is a five-month-old Jack Russell Terrier. He is a very confident boy who loves to be with people so would live a family that is around most of the time.

He is a very active boy so will need someone who has time to take him on lots of adventures.

Due to him still being very young he will need to continue his training.

He would love a secure garden to explore.

Scampi is a five-year-old Toy Poodle. She is an super sweet  active girl, she loves going for walks and exploring.

She is a social little lady and could live with other dogs who are experienced in living with toy breeds or who are of a similar size.

Scampi would be happy to live with children.

She will need regular brushing and trips to the groomers to help keep her coat in top condition.

Penny is a one-year-old Daschund. She is a super sweet girl looking for her forever home.

Penny is very affectionate and could live with school aged children.

Penny would like her new family to be around most of the time and her new home  to have a secure garden.

Waffle is a small long haired cross breed.

Waffle needs to be the only pet in her new home, she is young and active but slightly unsure when out on her walks, so she would like her new family to help her explore and build her confidence.

She would love a secure garden to explore.

Pickle is a two-year-old French Bulldog.

She is a very loving little girl, who loves to snuggle and have attention.

PicklePickle (Image: Animal Rescue Cumbria) She has been happy to walk with other dogs whilst in our care, and could possibly live with another calm neutered dog in her new home.

She loves being around people. and could potentially live with school-aged children.

Pickle is slightly overweight and so is on a diet, she will need her new owner to help maintain her diet, get in shape and live a health lifestyle moving forward.
