Two people have been arrested in Penrith on suspicion of shoplifting.
Eden Neighbourhood Policing Team were alerted to two separate shoplifting incidents in Penrith town centre today via the Shop Watch radio.
Eden Police works with local businesses through the Shop Watch scheme.
Both suspects were located and arrested with the assistance of response officers.
Investigations are ongoing and two people are in custody.
