Netherby Hall is launching its own signature rum at its Christmas craft fair.

The rum is made from ingredients handpicked from the estate's historical walled garden.

This exclusive rum will be debuted at Netherby Hall’s Christmas craft fair, set to take place on November 23 and 24 from 10am to 4pm.

The rum joins Netherby Hall's existing gin, with both available for purchase at the fair.

Visitors will also have the chance to refill gin bottles on-site.

The director of operations at Netherby Hall, Kim Capstick, said: "The Christmas craft fair has truly become a hallmark of the festive season for us here at Netherby Hall.

"We’re excited to welcome guests into our beautifully transformed halls to celebrate the start of Christmas with a weekend filled with local artistry, festive flavours, and now our new Netherby Hall rum.

"This event is a chance to bring the community together, share in the festive spirit, and showcase the very best of what Netherby Hall has to offer.

"Our new Netherby Hall rum is an exciting addition and, alongside our gin, would work beautifully in Christmas cocktails.

"The rum also makes a wonderful ingredient for Christmas puddings and mincemeat, bringing a distinctive flavour to your festive celebrations.

"It’s a perfect way to take a little bit of Netherby Hall and the spirit of north Cumbria home with you."

This year's Christmas craft fair will see nearly 40 artisans showcase handcrafted gifts and unique finds throughout the Oak Hall, Orangery, Reception and Moot Hall.

Visitors will enjoy a festive atmosphere complete with seasonal food and drink, free entry, and free parking.

With a dog-friendly policy and plenty of local talent, the fair offers a memorable way to start the festive season.

In addition to browsing unique craft stalls, visitors can enjoy exploring Netherby Hall’s walled garden and beautifully landscaped grounds.

The Christmas craft fair is one of many events held at Netherby Hall throughout the year, including a spring fair, car shows, and classical music concerts.

The year concludes with the Hall’s New Year’s Eve ceilidh, featuring ceilidh band Cragganmore.
