A ROAD has been closed following a crash in West Cumbria.
The incident has taken place in Bigrigg and Springfield Road is currently closed.
Emergency services are in attendance.
In a post on social media, Cumbria Road Watch said: "Reports of a road closure on Springfield Road in Bigrigg following a road traffic collision, the road is currently closed in both directions, and Cumbria Police are currently in attendance.
"Please avoid the area at this time, delays in the area.
"Plan your journey accordingly, likely to remain closed for some time."
