FOR this Nostalgia edition we wanted to take a look at Christmas Light Switch Ons.
These events take place in towns across Cumbria in November and December as the world gears up for the Christmas season.
The annual light switch on events take place in the town centre, and all the local residents are invited along to witness the Christmas themed decorations light up the entire town.
Often times there is entertainment including live music and performances from local groups, some lucky towns might even get an appearance from a celebrity.
Towns across North Cumbria including Carlisle, Whitehaven, Maryport, Workington, and Cockermouth all have their own events for local residents along with many other towns and villages.
It is the ideal way to truly begin to get into the Christmas spirit and spend time with others in the community.
How will you be spending the festive period this year?
