A VAN driver has been taken to hospital with injuries following a crash on the A66 in West Cumbria this morning.
Police were called at 8:07am report of a two vehicle crash between a car and van on the A66 between Cockermouth and Stainburn.
Emergency services attended the scene. The driver of the van has been taken to hospital with injuries
The driver of the car was assessed by the North West Ambulance Service at the scene and was found to have only minor injuries.
The road has been blocked with debris on the road and police will remain on the scene while the recovery of vehicles take place.
