A new business in Wigton is aiming to provide low-cost clinic spaces for small healthcare and well-being businesses.
The Health Collective, which is based on Wigton's High Street, was launched by David and Emma Marsh in 2023.
The business was started after Emma was unable to find an affordable clinic space for her physiotherapy business, with the pair now hoping that through The Health Collective, they can give other small businesses a helping hand.
The pair, whose business currently has 16 different practitioners, will host an open day on Saturday, November 30 where they hope to speak to other local small businesses and raise money for Cash for Kids Cumbria's Mission Christmas Appeal.
Ahead of the open day, David and Emma explained what they are hoping to achieve.
They said: "The Health Collective open day on Saturday, November 30 is a chance for the local community to come in and visit us for a cup of tea, find out more about what we do, and meet the practitioners.
"As we have frosted windows and are appointment-only, it does make it a bit difficult to just drop by, so if you’ve ever wondered what changes we’ve made inside, we would love to welcome you.
"As we’re heading into the festive season, it seemed like an ideal opportunity to also try and help Cash for Kids Cumbria in their mission to make sure no local child goes without a present this Christmas.
"We have already sold lots of raffle tickets, and people can buy them on the day to support this brilliant cause.
"The prizes are all kindly donated by our practitioners, so not just your average bottle draw."
