A north Cumbrian walking group is urging more local people to join them on their monthly walks.
Brampton Walkers are Welcome is a community group that encourages people to enjoy their local area by walking to different scenic locations and historic sites.
The group currently has 50 members who often join the monthly walks but the Walkers are Welcome committee is hoping to attract more people to join the group.
They're looking for support with things such as monitoring the condition of footpaths, leading walks, monitoring social media, walk mapping, and just generally joining the walks.
Spokesperson Kate Allen said: "We are a friendly, welcoming group and walking is a great way to explore the beautiful countryside we are privileged to live in.
"In addition, being part of a walking group has both physical and mental benefits so, if you would like to know more, look on our website or our Facebook page."
