CRFM, a community radio station, has a new breakfast show presenter.
The not-for-profit organisation, operating from the John Myers Studio at the Carlisle Enterprise Centre, relies on volunteer presenters, including former BBC Radio Cumbria and CFM personalities.
Bekah Fowler, who previously worked at CFM, has taken over the breakfast show from Pete Moss, who stepped down to pursue a new venture.
Ms Fowler, who has worked in radio for almost 33 years, lives near Wigton and has two grown-up children and a ten-year-old daughter.
She said: "I'm so honoured to have been offered the breakfast show at CRFM.
"I've known Pete for about 20 years, and he is a hard act to follow – he's such a professional.
"The radio station is undoubtedly my 'happy place'."
CRFM broadcasts live 24/7 and can be listened to online at www.crfm.co.uk, on DAB, or on the app.
