Volunteers at a Carlisle pop-up store sold more than £10,000 worth of poppies in the run up to Remembrance Day.
The Carlisle and Stanwix branch of the Royal British Legion has thanked all of the volunteers who gave their time to support the Poppy Shop in The Lanes after it was revealed they made £10,594.
Each year, the Royal British Legion sets up the shop in the shopping centre to support the annual Poppy Appeal.
In a post on Facebook, they said: "This remarkable achievement will make a meaningful impact in supporting our veterans and their families.
"Your commitment, hard work, and generosity truly embody the spirit of community.
"Congratulations on this fantastic success and thank you for making a difference."
