PLANS have been put forward to change the first floor of a former retail unit in Carlisle into a two-bedroom Airbnb.
The application has been submitted to convert the storage area above the ground floor retail space at 54 Denton Street, which was the former Packenham's shop.
The change of use proposal has been submitted to Cumberland Council by CONCEPT on behalf of Mr Vince on November 21.
The application's design and access statement reads: "External appearance is to remain as existing (apart from the reinstatement of an existing door), as is the surface/foul water systems to the building. Minor changes internally are proposed to separate the space into habitable rooms."
