Two of the favourites have been drawn together in the quarter-finals of the Fred Conway Cumberland Cup.
Carlisle City are set to take on Workington Reds in the last eight of the county senior cup.
Holders Reds are expected to return to the competition despite losing on penalties to Whitehaven in the second round.
Whitehaven have since been expelled from the cup after fielding a player who had played for another club in an earlier round.
That is subject to a seven-day appeal process but Whitehaven have already said they will not contest the decision.
If that is the case then Workington will be allowed back in to the cup and will take on Dan Kirkup’s City at Gillford Park in their bid to win the competition for a third consecutive season.
City ousted a young Carlisle United side from the cup last week with a 1-0 victory.
Their fellow Northern League Division One club Penrith have an away tie as they look to make progress in the competition.
Darren Edmondson’s side will go to Unisun Athletic.
Cleator Moor Celtic will face a trip to Keswick, while the winners of the rearranged Wetheriggs United v Langwathby United second round tie will be at home to Aspatria.
The draw was made on BBC Radio Cumbria on Tuesday evening.
