WILLIAM Howard School in Brampton is set to re-open after a two-day closure caused by a 'burst pipe'.
The secondary school was closed on Tuesday, November 26, and Wednesday, November 27 after a water main had burst.
The school had hoped to complete the remedial works on the same day that the pipe had burst but was forced to close the school for an extra day for this to be completed.
However, William Howard School has announced that it will be open as usual on Thursday, November 29 after the repairs to its mains water supply were finished.
Writing on social media, they said: "We are pleased to say that the necessary repairs to our mains water supply have been successfully completed. As a result, the school now has mains water fully restored.
"This means that we will be open as usual tomorrow (Thursday, November 28), and we look forward to welcoming all students back bright and early in the morning.
"Thank you for your understanding and support during this time."
