Barrow's Indoor Market is currently in the top 30 finalists to win Britain’s favourite market 2025.
Barrow has remained in the top 30 for the last three weeks and now the competition is beginning to get fierce.
Every vote counts in the Great British Market of the Year Awards as operators, traders, and members of the public nominate their favourite market.

Votes are cast online on the The National Association of British Markets (NABMA) website, which will remain open until midnight on December 13.
A shortlist of the top markets will be created based on public votes and the nominations will then be considered by a Great British Market Awards judging panel.
Evaluation may include mystery shops and quality checks by the judging panel.
Barrow Market has a long history and its original Victorian-style market was created in 1864 by James Garden for Furness Railway while the town was undergoing exponential growth.
It is one of the largest markets in Cumbria and has over 15 independent businesses.
Cast your vote on the NABMA website.
