The wall of a car park overlooking a road collapsed, causing a car to get stuck.
It happened at the junction of Lancaster Street and Crown Street in Carlisle on Monday, November 26.
Police said they initially received a report at 7.48pm from someone reporting that the wall partially collapsed, with debris blocking the road.
It's understood that someone in the car opened the door which touched the railing - at which point it collapsed.
No damage to the car was caused.
A spokesperson from Cumberland Council said: "Our Bridges and Structures team has assessed the collapsed wall on Crown Street, Carlisle, and the area has been made safe with barriers and traffic management signage.

"Road narrowing is in place due to debris, which will soon be cleared to restore full width.
"Heras fencing will secure the site.
“While repair works won't begin immediately due to limited resources, plans are underway to rebuild the collapsed section and address the adjacent leaning wall, ensuring a long-term, strengthened solution."
