A disqualified driver was reported to court after being discovered behind the wheel in Alston.
Eden Police said their response officers were alerted to a man acting suspiciously at Spar Garage on Wednesday, November 27.
A spokesperson from Eden Police said: "It was discovered that the male had been driving a wagon on the forecourt and checks showed that he was a disqualified driver.
"The vehicle was seized and uplifted, and the driver was reported to court for motoring offences."
Checks also revealed the vehicle had not been taxed since 2016.
