Carlisle United Supporters’ Trust and the club’s community sports trust are holding a Christmas Foodbank appeal.
They will use the Blues’ last home game before the festive period – Chesterfield on Saturday, December 14 – to stage a collection for those in need.
Fans will be invited to bring items before the game to a collection point in the Study Centre behind the Blues Store.
Donations, which will go to Carlisle Foodbank, can be made between 1 and 2.30pm on the day of the game.
“Every donation of tinned or long-life food – no matter how big or small – is valuable,” organisers said.
