An apparent 'security incident' that was reported at a Center Parcs site in Cumbria earlier this evening sparked panic among guests as they were reportedly told to evacuate.

A video posted on Twitter from the scene shows an alarm sounding at the Whinfell Forest site near Penrith after a message to evacuate was played to guests via the park's PA system on the evening of November 27.

A man at the scene said that a 'full evacuation' was taking place and that staff 'rushed everyone out of the building' during the 'security incident'.
