A lane closure will remain in place until late January next year as work to replace a wall section gets underway.
Work was scheduled to begin today (December 2) on a section of Town Quay, Workington, and will continue for 54 days to January 24, 2025.
A partial lane closure will be in effect from today, prohibiting any vehicles and pedestrians from proceeding, other than in a southeasterly direction, along the section from its junction with Harbour Terrace, extending southeasterly for approximately 80 metres.
