A COMMUNITY Centre in West Cumbria has received funding to offer an array of activities.
The Senhouse Centre in Whitehaven offers an array of classes and activities for visitors to enjoy.
Some of the activities include art, yoga, and Christmas wreath-making sessions.
This was made possible thanks to the government's levelling up funding.
Whitehaven Community Trust, a group chaired by Kerry Maxwell, operate the centre.
She said: "At the Senhouse we have various therapies running like yoga, reiki, massage, and physiotherapy which are to be paid for.
"We also have free arts and crafts sessions and free yoga and mindfulness sessions. We have been able to do this with the help of government funding.
"We've got a Health Matters clinic where you can get a health check, your blood pressure taken, weighed and measured, and talk to a practitioner.
"All of the sessions have been well attended since they began in July when the funding came through.
"I set the Senhouse Centre up in 2000, it's a healthy living centre. It puts a lot of therapists under one roof whilst also offering holistic services to the community.
"Half of it is paid services run by businesses, and with this money, we can provide free services.

"At one time we got National Lottery funding for mental health services, which we did for nine years, and we helped around 4,000 people with that.
"So, we've been running for quite some time now, we've also got the Fit for Life gym downstairs who operate from our premises.
"We've put everything in one place, so if somebody rings up wanting to speak to a councillor then we can help with that, but these services need to be paid for at the moment.
"These courses are great, but we'd like to get more funding to offer further courses for the public in future.
"We'd like to help people who may be long-term unemployed just to feel better about themselves and get back into work, or even volunteering which would be great."
