A men's mental health charity is launching a campaign to help those feeling isolated over the Christmas season.
Offload Cumbria wants to raise awareness and provide support for men who may find the festive period a challenging time.
Liam Edmondson, founder of Offload, said: "Offload Cumbria’s mission is to ensure no man feels alone this season.
"There’s no magic to it… lads simply share their problems and offload the weight they’ve been carrying around in their mind."
The charity aims to help men open up, feel less isolated, and receive better support when they are struggling with their mental health.
They operate three weekly peer-to-peer support sessions in Carlisle and Penrith.
The free sessions are designed to create a relaxed and welcoming environment, and be a supportive space for men to connect and share.
Mr Edmondson said: "I encourage any men out there who are struggling to come along to a session and see what we’re all about.
"Our friendly group is here to help you deal with life’s challenges, which can often feel heavier this time of year.
"Think of us as a mate who will hear you out and never judge you.
"If you’re looking for moral support, Offload is here for you."
The free sessions are open to all without the need for a referral or registration.
