A POPULAR festive tradition ran by a West Cumbrian rotary club will return to town bringing some Christmas joy.
This year Santa is not touring around the estates as 'his elves are getting old and regulations getting tougher'.
He will be calling at the following places where little people can have their photo taken with him and receive a little treat.
- SALTERBECK OVAL CENTRE. Tuesday, December 17, from 6pm to 7pm
- SEATON GARAGE. Wednesday, December 18, from 6pm to 7pm
- MOORCLOSE SHOPS. Thursday, December 19, from 6pm to 7pm
The Workington Derwent Rotary will also be outside Haigh's on Pow Street on Saturday, 14 and Sunday, December 15, as well as the following weekend (December 21 and 22).
Santa will also be down at Morrisons for Monday, December 23 when the Elves will be holding their annual collection and Santa will have loads of treats for the children.
A spokesman for the rotary said: "People are always very generous at this collection, the proceeds of which are all used to support local worthy causes."
