AN air ambulance was called to a 'farming incident' in Appleby today.
They were called shortly before midday and arrived on scene at 12.17pm (December 4).
The Great North Air Ambulance Service's (GNAAS) critical care team assisted the North West Ambulance Service to "assess and treat" the patient.
A spokesperson from GNAAS said: "We had a doctor and paramedic on board our aircraft and they arrived on scene at 12.17pm.
"Our team worked alongside the North West Ambulance Service to assess and treat a patient before returning back to their base at 12.34pm."
