OUR readers reacted to the news that Carlisle's new mixed entertainment venue is 'really pleased' by the reception it has received from the community - and is excited for the future.

Game On! opened under the radar in December 2023 in English Gate Plaza, Botchergate in what was formerly a bingo hall.

The new venue features several activities including ten-pin bowling, mini-golf, shuffleboarding, augmented reality darts, and much more.

Adam Roberts said: "Well done Laura Davidson and the team," and Sue Wooding said: "Can't wait to try it."

Laura Storey said: "This place is mega and the staff can’t do enough for you. Can’t wait to come back again next week."

Sharon Bradshaw commented: "Best of luck! Looks amazing and nice to have something different. That venue was always going to be hard to fill with a new enterprise so hopefully it’ll go really well and people will use it."
