WE shared the news that a well-established Carlisle fish and chip shop that dates back to 1965 is up for sale.

The popular Renucci's, on the corner of Orton Road and Wigton Road, is being listed by Carigiet Cowen for £375,000.

The freehold sale of the building includes the hot food takeaway, a four-bedroom flat above, and a rear external yard or garden.

According to the agents, the unit could be re-opened and trading in a couple of days.
