Nohun- a Tiktok and Instagram content creator- has found himself in the midst of the Little Mix feud.
The influencer - whose handle is Nohun_ - posted screenshots claiming they were direct messages from Little Mix band member Leigh-Anne Pinnock.
The messages apparently came after Nohun posted a video of him dancing to former Little Mix star Jesy Nelson's new single.
Leigh-Anne supposedly replied saying that he should make a video "about her (Jesy's) being a black fish instead".
Nelson's debut single Boyz has come under fire from some social media users due to her appearance in the music video.
Who is Nohun?
Nohun is a self-described "huge Little Mix fan" who has followed the band for a decade.
He also follows their individual projects including when Jesy left the group earlier this year.
When Jesy released her single, the content creator even changed his Instagram bio to "stream Boyz".
What is blackfishing?
Nelson was accused of blackfishing – the practice of a non-black person trying to appear black or racially ambiguous– but has denied using fake tan.
Jesy Nelson speaks out on ‘blackfishing’ controversy
Nelson appeared in an Instagram live stream with rapper Nicki Minaj, who also featured on the track Boyz, to address the controversy.
The comments came after reports Nelson’s former bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock had warned her about blackfishing.
During the livestream, Nelson said: “I personally want to say that my intention was never, ever to offend people of colour with this video and my song because like I said, growing up as a young girl, this is the music that I listened to.
“These are the videos that I watched and thought were the best. For me personally, ’90s/2000 hip hop, R&B music was the best era of music.
“I just wanted to celebrate that. I just wanted to celebrate that era of music because it is what I love.”
She added: “My intention was never, ever, ever want to offend anyone and genuinely it actually does really hurt me that I may have offended people and actually, like, hurt people’s feelings just by genuinely celebrating something that I love.”
