Strictly Come Dancing returned to our screens tonight and saw actor Will Mellor dedicate his performance to his father and family.
Mellor and Nancy danced the Waltz to Three Times A Lady by Commodores, a song that his dad used to sing to his mum.
In the VT before the pair’s performance, Will called his mum and she explained that Will lost his dad during the pandemic after falling ill.
Will struggled to talk after his performance as he was overcome with emotion.

Mellor is joined by actress and TV presenter Kym Marsh who also dedicated her performance this week to a loved one.
Marsh gave birth to her baby son who was born premature and she dedicated the dance to those who have or are going through a similar struggle.

Both Will and his professional dance partner Nancy were tearing up as they made their way over to the judges after the dance.
The pair hope their performance in week eight will be enough to secure themselves a spot on the Blackpool Tower dancefloor next week.
