Amanda was paired up with Giovanni Pernice on Strictly and had not taken part in last weekend's episode.
Amanda Abbington leaves Strictly Come Dancing
Before Amanda and Giovanni were absent from Strictly at the weekend there had been rumours there had been a rift between them.
However, the pair were quick to shut these down on Strictly's It Takes Two, as host and dancer Janette Manrara said: "It honestly looks like you two are having the best time in rehearsals, getting along like a house on fire in rehearsals right?"
This saw Abbington reply: "Yeah we are, we are! We do and we laugh a lot, we have the same sense of humour which is really important.
"So we'll come out, work hard, and then we just laugh don't we."
Strictly Come Dancing continues at 6.40pm on Saturday, October 28 on BBC One
